feeling:

yes we did!

i'm driving to work this morning and i'm listening to npr. they've got full inauguration coverage going all day. i was feeling so happy and so excited that tears were welling up in my eyes. the closer i got to work, the less i wanted to spend my day in a windowless office with three up-tight republican obama-haters. as i turned on to my office's street i pulled my cell phone out and called in to say i was going to be out for the day. then i went across the street to open up a checking account. and i just now directed my tax return to be deposited right into it. the account came with a savings account attached, so i am thrilled to no end.

it is SUCH a good day! :D
